Before the split the Murgos were the warrior caste. They have a very stiff honor code, albeit one that does not include honor to enemies or slaves. They are highly skilled with their weapon of choice, which varies from warrior to warrior, but is always a type of sword. Murgos will often use bows in combat as well, but only if explicitly ordered to by a superior officer. Murgos and Nadraks cannot stand each other, and as such they do their best to remain apart. A Murgo or Nadrak walking alone into a village or town full of the other will most likely not leave alive. All Murgo males ritually scar their cheeks at the age of 13. If for any reason such treatment is refused, the offender is put to death.
